Label TextThis exquisite, embroidered panel shows two episodes of a legendary tale that features the Queen of Sheba’s visit to the court of King Solomon. The left side of the needlework portrays the royal meeting in a sumptuous garden setting. On the right side, King Solomon is praying before an altar. Arabella Huntington purchased this needlework panel in 1910.
