Typed inscription on label on verso: Cairn Terrier. This popular terrier was originally know as the short-haired skye terrier. It is known as the Cairn Terrier because it hunts foxes, badgers, and other small animals which often live in the cairns or stone heaps of the islands and highlands of Scotland. Cairn Terriers are good house dogs.
