InscribedInscribed on interior edge of box in pencil: “On July 20, 1969 at 4:17 p.m. the spaceship Eagle first set man on the Moon”
A piece of paper is inside the box with the inscription in blue ink: “ I BOUGHT THIS BOX FROM HILLARY UNDERWOOD OF WINDSOR, VT. ABOUT ONE YEAR BEFORE THE FIRST MOON LANDING”.
