DescriptionDesign for stained glass: round headed light with arched panels above. Figure of King Alfred in russet, blue and green in arched crown. Holding book under left arm, holding knobbed sceptre. Tiled floor - patterned yellow drapery background with square quarried above and name-scroll. Below, panel with helmet, scales and female figure with red scroll and yellow foliage. Arch of panels of vines and flowers above.
