DescriptionPaint decorated Vermont blanket chest, with exuberant black decoration, including the inside of the feet. Inscribed on the inside of the lid “The property of Lena A. Bugbee and Clair Paul Wakefield, Vershire, VT.” Retaining its original paint and decoration, and the hinges have never been moved.
